Osteo Support is progressively formulated with trademarked products for Soy Isoflavones, Ipriflavone (Ostivone TM), and Zinc. The formula also provides Osteoporosis preventing calcium, magnesium and boron.
- Osteoclasts and osteoblasts are bone cells which breakdown older bone tissue and replace it with new tissue. Osteoclasts are responsible for excreting and acid that causes cellular bone breakdown and osteoblasts rebuild bone cells. The breakdown sequence is strongly initiated by compounds known as cytokines. Isoflavones, and particularly ipriflavone, work as powerful inhibitors of these cytokines, and therefore, help to maintain bone tissue and promote bone regeneration. Ipriflavone has been the subject of 60 clinical trials worldwide and has shown remarkable efficacy in maintaining healthy bone density. It is classified as a drug for preventing osteoporosis in Japan, Argentina and parts of Europe.
